Mainland Enterprises Going Global
Leveraging Hong Kong to Seize New Opportunities Worldwide
To further support Mainland enterprises in going global through Hong Kong, the Hong Kong SAR Government has established the Task Force on Supporting Mainland Enterprises in Going Global (GoGlobal Task Force).
The GoGlobal Task Force aims to set up a one-stop platform that fully leverages Hong Kong’s advantages in internationalisation and global networks to formulate customised proposals for Mainland enterprises to go global.
Steered by the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, the GoGlobal Task Force membership includes relevant bureaux, departments and organisations. It also collaborates with professional and commercial service providers across different sectors, including law firms, banks and accounting firms, to jointly provide cross-bureau, cross-departmental and cross-sectoral support for Mainland enterprises going global, thereby accelerating their access to global markets.

Introduction to Cross-sectoral Professional Service Providers in Hong Kong
To fully support Chinese Mainland enterprises in leveraging Hong Kong as a strategic platform for “going global” to expand into international markets, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, as a member of the GoGlobal Task Force, has established the GoGlobal Cross-sectoral Professional Services Platform. This Platform brings together Hong Kong’s service providers across eight major sectors: finance, legal, accounting, design and marketing, logistics, information and communications technology, infrastructure and real estate, as well as testing and certification, thereby providing one-stop support to Chinese Mainland enterprises’ overseas expansion through Hong Kong. The Platform, having taken into account professional advice from the Expert Committee on Professional Services for Going Global steered by the Deputy Secretary for Justice, relevant Task Force members, professional bodies and industry associations, will be continuously updated as needed.
With Hong Kong’s unique advantages, internationalised business environment and extensive global commercial networks, we welcome Chinese Mainland enterprises to choose Hong Kong as their starting point and utilise this Platform to effectively connect with suitable Hong Kong professional service providers, who could serve as their best partners to efficiently expand into overseas markets and leverage emerging global opportunities. For enquiries, please contact the Hong Kong Trade Development Council at goglobal@hktdc.org or (852) 1830 668.
